Post with 1 note
“Before you can grow up, you must fall in love 3 times.
Once you must fall in love with your best friend, ruining your friendship forever. This will teach you who your true friends are, and the fine line between friendship and more.
Once you must fall in love with someone you believe to be perfect. You will learn that no one is perfect, and that you should never be treated as any less than you deserve.
And once you must fall in love with someone that is exactly like you. This will teach you about who you are, and who you want to be.
And when you’re through with all that, you learn that the people who care about you the most are the ones that you hurt, and the ones that hurt you are the ones that you needed the most.
But most of all, you learn that love is only a concept and is not something that can be defined, it is different to each person that experiences it. And you will learn to respect each and every person on this earth, knowing that everyone only wants to be loved.”

So we had a night-till-morning out yesterday during Halloween.
I went to CG in the morning, lunch at Blue Market with my CG mates after that and was off to Messiah’s house.
I was supposed to reach at 3, but I reached at 4 instead. XP
Jenn and I were the first ones there, and had some of Messiah’s awesome pasta. He says he made it by accident, but it was totally yummy.
The rest came a bit later and we got ready. By 7.00pm, it was raining bullets and Spooktacular was supposed to start at 7.30pm. We took this cab/bus thing, which we waited 45 mins for but took it anyway cuz it was a $35 flat rate.
We reached Sentosa at around 8.00pm and the queue to this stupid thing was OMFGBBQLOL long. We only got into the haunted house at 11pm! WE WAITED FOR 3 HOURS! But the fun thing was that our costumes were so good that a lot of random people asked to take pics with us. Well, mainly Messiah, cuz he went dressed as Tiffany from SNSD. With boobs and a blonde wig.

Gary and Hazwan went as creepy people in suits donning animal masks, Leon as a Beatle, Jenn as a Greek Goddess, Shirley as a Dark Angel, Amanda as a witch, Stella as a pros and I was a cat!

Meow!
We came out at around 12am and the evening just went weird from here. We went to 7-11 for food and drinks. We had complimentary free entrance to Wave Pool so we walked all the way to Siloso Beach to find it. It was a nice chillaxing place, but there wasn’t much to do there. Funny thing about the complimentary entrance was that entrance was free anyhoo.
We walked a little bit backwards to this other club called Azzure or something cuz this drunk lady stumbled into us and asked to take pics with us. Before she left, she said “Say Pauline and just walk in”.
We thought she was some atas person, but entrance was free anyway.
Just as we were about to order drinks, the party ended. LOL! So OMG right? Why so fail!
We later went to Clark Quay, but the number of people there were insane. We were tired + the crowds just scared us stupid, so we wanted to go home. Except we just paid to get there.
We went to TCC to eat (again) and chill. Left Clark Quay at 4.30 ish, reached home at 5.

Careful who you meet on All Hallow’s Eve.
At around 3pm, Ms. Kwa suddenly sms-ed me and asked if I wanted to go to an exclusive Yahoo! event. To quote Big Bang Theory: “In the world of emoticons, I was colon capital D”. I rushed home to change, with the impression that the exclusive Yahoo! event was something like I don’t know… Heineken Green Room?
What? Not plausible meh?
I think I was severely overdressed. LOL!
Anyway, turns out the event was for Yahoo to tell us about this project they have going on called ‘Youreka’.

Ppt slides.
Youreka is basically this sort of online competition targeted at people aged 18 - 25. From what I gather, it’s basically a way for Yahoo to showcase their properties by dangling awesome goodies in front of you.
All over Youreka, there are these tickets that you can find hidden inside some sites. You find them, enter your Yahoo ID and you get yourself a freebie!
When you go and collect your freebie, you get a chance to find the elusive Purple Ticket that lets you compete in an event at the Singapore Flyer. The prizes are pretty awesome: there’s a Honda, a Blackberry and Adidas shoes.
Actually, I wonder if there’s more than 1 item per prize. If there is, I might consider going down for the event.

Obligatory picture at the Yahoo! sign.
We went down to Starbucks after that for coffee to chat. I think most of us were bedazzled because we were invited there as bloggers.
Well, I was anyway.
RT @doubD: @veratan @energywen @Colourrun HAHA! Then @pingkwa can use this as eg for #nct LOL! —> SHE DID! PSYCHIC!
Just got home from debate training. Tired doesn’t even begin to describe anything.
